(Un)Common Threads 2025

The worlds of business and the arts in Newfoundland and Labrador are more alike than they might seem — both driven by a shared vision of a vibrant, connected province. Un(Common) Threads is an event series launched by Business and Arts NL that weaves together our common traits, passions, and goals to spark powerful, unconventional results. It sees creativity as a catalyst for connection, well-being, and economic growth.

The 2025 edition saw creatives and business professionals converge at the Sheraton Hotel, St. John’s, for a half-day summit. Keynote speakers included renowned architect Todd Saunders, visionary choral leader Kellie Walsh, and celebrated broadcaster and musician Tom Power. Artists Benjy Kean, Jing Xia, and Rebecca Feaver showcased creativity with lively performances and artistic displays.

Perfect Day’s contribution included creating a graphic concept for the summit and producing marketing materials. Our design, with its pared down colour palette, wave motifs, and hidden “UT” gave the event a polished and dynamic feel.
